Joed Viera/Staff Photographer Lockport, NY-Principal Kathy Brachmann runs over Patrick Root’s foot in the Starpoint Middle School gym during the Pick a Reading Partner Program event. Brachmann was suppose to jump over Root with a bicycle to reward the close to 600 students that picked a partner and read for 20 minutes a day for three weeks. When Brachmann couldn't the school brought in the Dialed Action Sports Team professional BMX riders Colton Civitello and Jeremiah Smith to finish the job.
