Middleport, NY - The Clute-Phillips American Legion Post #938 is celebrating its first 100 years of their charter being approved by the national organization in March 1921. Because of the pandemic, no event could be scheduled to highlight the milestone, but 1st Vice Commander Kathy Kindle did put together a display in one of the windows of Middleport's center for people to see and learn about the post's history. The display can be seen at 29 Main St. and will be up until Flag Day on June 14.
