Olcott, NY - Harrison Hayzlett seemed in good spirits returning home after a round of chemotherapy at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His mother used a blanket to shade him during the ride. Harrison Hayzlett will be 8-years old in June and has already been through more tough times than many full grown adults. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer which occurs most often in children and young adults in 2019, and since then has beaten and relapsed three times. During this third relapse, the cancer has dropped into his lungs and his doctors are asking for an experimental treatment that his insurance refuses to pay.
